Bioscience and Biotechnology Virtual Career Fair Information for Students


The Bioscience and Biotechnology Career Fair (BioFair) is an excellent opportunity for current students and Cockrell School of Engineering alumni to connect with representatives from the bioscience, biomedical and biotechnology industries.
Network with industry recruiters and graduate school program representatives as you share your resumes and explore different career options. The event is a collaborative effort between the Cockrell School Engineering Career Assistance Center (ECAC), Natural Sciences Career Services and the College of Pharmacy.

Student registration for BioFair opens on October 22, 2025.
Preparing for BioFair
To participate in the virtual fair, students must:
- Log in to your 12twenty@Texas account
- Once you log in, search for “BioFair” within Events. Select “BioFair – Bioscience and Biotech Virtual Career Fair
- Click “Register Now” to RSVP to the event
- View attending employers and graduate programs, and mark that you’re interested in their organization
- Upload your resume to the Application Materials section of your 12twenty@Texas account
If you are an alumnus/alumna who cannot log in to 12twenty@Texas, please email ecac@engr.utexas.edu at least 48 hours before the event to request access. Be sure to include your UT EID in your message.
Important Information and Reminders
- You must RSVP by clicking “Register Now” in the 12twenty@Texas event posting to participate in the BioFair.
- Be camera-ready with business casual clothing, a non-distracting background and good lighting.
- Upload your resume early for representatives to review before the fair. For resume templates and writing tips, review ECAC’s Resume page on ENGR Direct.
- Attend the “How to Prepare for BioFair” virtual workshop on Oct. 28, 2025. View event details on 12twenty@Texas. A recording will be made available after the event.
